The Jill Stuart JS426 is a women's butterfly frame with a full rim design. The butterfly shape works well for those looking for a frame with wider upper corners that taper toward the bottom. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort.
This frame comes in one size: 54-17-140 (lens width 54mm, bridge 17mm, temple 140mm). The 54mm lens width is a regular fit, and the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width. Is the JS426 good for progressive lenses?

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
