About the Eight to Eighty GALA
The Eight to Eighty GALA is a women's cat eye frame with a full rim design. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit. The cat eye shape suits those who prefer a vintage-inspired silhouette.
This frame comes in one size: 52-18-145 (lens width-bridge-temple in millimeters). The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—if your lens width is around 52mm, this frame should fit similarly.

Which size is the GALA?
It comes in one size, 52-18-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the GALA good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
