About the Affordable Designs JOEL
The Affordable Designs JOEL is a full rim rectangle frame designed for women. The spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit.
This frame comes in one size: 59-18-145 (lens width 59mm, bridge 18mm, temple 145mm). The 59mm lens width is very wide, suitable for larger faces, while the 18mm bridge is average for a frame of this lens width. Compare these measurements to a pair you currently wear to determine fit.

Which size is the JOEL?
It comes in one size, 59-18-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 57–61 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the JOEL good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
