The full-rim square design provides adequate vertical lens height for most single-vision prescriptions. Progressive lens wearers should verify the internal height with their optician, as square shapes can limit the corridor length needed for multifocal lenses.

The square frame shape adds structure and definition to round or oval faces by introducing angular lines. Heart-shaped and diamond-shaped faces also work well with this geometry. Square and rectangular faces may find the frame emphasizes rather than balances their existing angles.
