About the Versace VE1285
The Versace VE1285 is a rectangular metal frame with full rims, designed for men. The rectangle shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes, providing angular contrast.
This frame comes in two sizes: 56-17-150 with a 40mm lens height, and 58-17-150 with a 41mm lens height. The lens width of 56mm to 58mm is wide, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. The 150mm temples are long—you can compare these measurements to the numbers printed on the inside of your current glasses to determine fit.

Which size should I choose, 56 or 58?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 55–57 mm take the 56; if it is 57–59 mm take the 58.
Is the VE1285 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 40 mm in the 56 and 41 mm in the 58. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
