About the Serafina Eyewear SILAS
The Serafina Eyewear SILAS is a full rim frame designed for women, equipped with spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for increased comfort and durability. This construction provides a secure fit while accommodating different head widths.
This frame comes in one size: 55-14-145, where 55mm is the lens width, 14mm is the bridge width, and 145mm is the temple length. The 55mm lens width offers a regular fit, while the 14mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, sitting closer on the nose than many frames with 55mm lenses. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size is the SILAS?
It comes in one size, 55-14-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the SILAS good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
