The Elizabeth Arden EA1257 is a full rim cat eye frame designed for women. The cat eye shape features upswept outer corners that complement angular and heart-shaped faces, and the frame includes spring hinges for flexibility at the temples.
This frame measures 56-16-145: a wide 56mm lens width, a 16mm bridge that's average for this lens width, and a standard 145mm temple length. The wide lens width means these glasses will cover more of your face horizontally than narrower frames. If your current glasses feel too small across the front, this wider lens may provide a better fit.

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
