About the Coach HC6040
The Coach HC6040 is a full rim women's frame with an oval to round shape. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort and durability.
This frame is available in three size configurations: 50-16-135 with a 32 mm lens height, 52-16-135, and 52-16-135 with a 33 mm lens height. The lens width of 50 mm to 52 mm falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 16 mm bridge is average for frames in this lens width range. The 135 mm temples are short compared to standard eyeglasses you may currently own.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 50 or 52?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 49–51 mm take the 50; if it is 51–53 mm take the 52.
Is the HC6040 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 32 mm in the 50 and 33 mm in the 52. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
