About the Affordable Designs Rina
The Rina is a women's cat-eye with a gentle upsweep rather than a dramatic wing, so it flatters without taking over the face. Affordable Designs builds it in plastic with a full rim and sells it at a price that makes a second pair, a reading pair or prescription sunglasses an easy decision.
It comes in one size, 55-18-140. The 55 mm lens is on the wider side, so the frame suits average to wide faces and gives a bold, fashion-forward look on narrower ones. The 48 mm lens height is tall, which is excellent for progressive and bifocal lenses and leaves plenty of room for a tinted or Transitions® lens.

Is the Rina a wide frame?
Moderately. At 55-18-140 the total front width is about 135 mm, which fits average to wide faces comfortably. If your current glasses have a 50–52 mm lens, the Rina will feel noticeably larger.
Can I order the Rina as prescription sunglasses?
Yes. Choose the frame, then pick tinted, polarized or Transitions® lenses in the lens step; the tall 48 mm lens works well for sun lenses.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
