About the BCBGMAXAZRIA TINSLEY
The BCBGMAXAZRIA TINSLEY is a women's full rim acetate frame with spring hinges for added flexibility and comfort. The construction provides durability with a complete acetate rim surrounding the lenses.
This frame comes in one size: 51-15-130 with a lens height of 42 mm. The 51 mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, and the 15 mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, which means the frame will sit closer at the nose than many glasses with similar lens widths. The 130 mm temples are short compared to standard lengths.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the TINSLEY?
It comes in one size, 51-15-130. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 49–53 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the TINSLEY good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 42 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
