About the Bocci Eyewear 230

The Bocci Eyewear 230 is a women's plastic frame with full rims and spring hinges. The spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit.

This frame comes in two sizes: 50-17-135 and 52-17-140. The lens width of 50mm to 52mm falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames with this lens width. The temple length is short at 135mm to 140mm. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 49–51 mm take the 50; if it is 51–53 mm take the 52.

Is the 230 good for progressive lenses?

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
