About the Bocci Eyewear 501

The Bocci Eyewear 501 is a full rim plastic frame designed for men. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit.

This frame measures 57-17-145 mm (lens width, bridge width, temple length). The 57 mm lens width is wide, providing substantial coverage, while the 17 mm bridge is average for frames with this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 501?

It comes in one size, 57-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 55–59 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 501 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
