The Brooklyn Heights Eyewear SAXON is a men's rectangular frame made from plastic with a full rim design. The rectangle shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort.
This frame comes in one size: 54-21-145, with a lens height of 44mm. The 54mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 21mm bridge is wide for this lens width, sitting farther from the nose than most frames with 54mm lenses. The 145mm temples are standard length. It comes in one size, 54-21-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the SAXON good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 44 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
