About the Capri ML7
The Capri ML7 is a square-shaped, full rim frame made from TR-90 plastic. The spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for durability and comfort. This style is designed for women.
This frame comes in one size: 57-16-145, with a lens height of 50 mm. The 57 mm lens width is wide, while the 16 mm bridge is average for this lens width, and the 145 mm temples are standard length. If your current glasses have lenses narrower than 57 mm, these will feel noticeably larger on your face.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the ML7?
It comes in one size, 57-16-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 55–59 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the ML7 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 50 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
