About the Capri 97

The Capri 97 is a full rim frame with spring hinges. The unisex design works for both men and women.

Available in two sizes: 46-16-130 and 48-16-135. The lens width of 46mm to 48mm is narrow, and the 16mm bridge is average for frames with this lens width. To check fit, measure a pair you own: these temples at 130mm or 135mm are shorter than standard.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I choose, 46 or 48?

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 45–47 mm take the 46; if it is 47–49 mm take the 48.

Is the 97 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
