About the Capri STORY
The Capri STORY is a full rim frame with spring hinges for flexibility and durability. The unisex design works for any gender.
This frame measures 48-16-135: a narrow 48mm lens width, a 16mm bridge that's average for this lens size, and short 135mm temples. The narrow lens width means this frame suits smaller faces, while the average bridge should sit comfortably on most nose widths in this size range. Which size is the STORY?
It comes in one size, 48-16-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 46–50 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the STORY good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
