About the 4U U209
The 4U U209 is a full rim frame with regular hinges in a unisex design. The full rim construction encircles the lenses completely, providing a defined look that works for both men and women.
This frame measures 52-16-140: a 52mm lens width that falls on the narrow side of regular, a 16mm bridge that is average for this lens width, and 140mm temples that are standard length. The narrower lens width means this frame will suit those with smaller faces better than those who typically wear wider glasses.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
