About the 4U US80

The 4U US80 is a full rim frame with spring hinges. This unisex design works for adults seeking a conventional frame style.

Available in two sizes: 51-17-140 and 54-17-145, where the numbers indicate lens width, bridge width, and temple length in millimeters. The 51mm to 54mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I choose, 51 or 54?

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 50–52 mm take the 51; if it is 53–55 mm take the 54.

Is the US80 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
