About the 4U US97

The 4U US97 is a full rim unisex frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.

This frame comes in one size: 52-16-145mm, with a lens height of 43mm. The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, and the 16mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will show you how this frame differs in size.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the US97?

It comes in one size, 52-16-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the US97 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 43 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
