About the Coach HC6249U
The Coach HC6249U is a women's butterfly-shaped frame with a full rim design. The butterfly shape provides wider coverage at the top, tapering toward the bottom, which suits those looking for a frame with more presence across the upper face.
This frame comes in one size: 53-18-140, meaning a 53mm lens width, 18mm bridge, and 140mm temples. The 53mm lens width provides a regular fit for most faces, while the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will tell you how this frame differs in size.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the HC6249U?
It comes in one size, 53-18-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the HC6249U good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What colors does the HC6249U come in?
It is offered in 2 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
