About the Coach HC6278U
The Coach HC6278U is a rectangular full rim frame made from injected material. Designed for men, this frame offers a structured, angular shape that suits those who prefer defined lines and a bold profile.
Available in two sizes: 54-17-145 with a 40mm lens height, and 57-17-145 with a 43mm lens height. The lens width of 54mm to 57mm is wide, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width, and the 145mm temple length is standard. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 54 or 57?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 53–55 mm take the 54; if it is 56–58 mm take the 57.
Is the HC6278U good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 40 mm in the 54 and 43 mm in the 57. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the HC6278U come in?
It is offered in 4 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
