About the Dolce&Gabbana DG3428
The Dolce&Gabbana DG3428 is a butterfly-shaped frame made from acetate in a full-rim construction. Designed for women, the butterfly shape features wider upper corners that taper toward the bottom, a style that complements oval, heart-shaped, and round face shapes.
This frame is available in two sizes: 51-19-140 with a lens height of 41 mm, and 53-19-140 with a lens height of 43 mm. The lens width of 51 mm to 53 mm provides a regular fit, while the 19 mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. If you check the numbers printed inside your current glasses, you can compare them to these measurements to determine which size will fit similarly.

Which size should I choose, 51 or 53?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 50–52 mm take the 51; if it is 52–54 mm take the 53.
Is the DG3428 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 41 mm in the 51 and 43 mm in the 53. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
