About the Dolce&Gabbana DG5105U
The Dolce&Gabbana DG5105U is a square-shaped women's frame made from injected material with full rims surrounding the lenses. The square shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes, providing structure and definition.
This frame comes in two sizes: 53-18-145 with a lens height of 48 mm, and 55-18-145 with a lens height of 49 mm. The lens width of 53mm to 55mm provides a regular fit, while the 18mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width, and the 145mm temples are standard length. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 53 or 55?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.
Is the DG5105U good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 48 mm in the 53 and 49 mm in the 55. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
