About the Eight to Eighty YORK
The Eight to Eighty YORK is a full rim frame with spring hinges, designed as a unisex style. The full rim construction encircles the lenses completely, providing a defined look.
This frame comes in one size: 56-18-140mm. The 56mm lens width is wide, while the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width, and the 140mm temples are standard length. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size is the YORK?
It comes in one size, 56-18-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the YORK good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—

LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
