The Elizabeth Arden EAC412 is a full rim cat eye frame designed for women. The cat eye shape features upswept outer corners that suit those looking for a feminine, vintage-inspired silhouette. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort.
This frame measures 53-16-140: a 53mm lens width, 16mm bridge, and 140mm temples. The 53mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 16mm bridge is average for this lens size. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be similar if your current frames fit well.

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
