About the Flexon E1153
The Flexon E1153 is a men's rectangular frame with a full rim design and regular hinges. The rectangular shape provides structured, angular lines that complement oval, round, and heart-shaped faces.
This frame measures 53-15-145: a 53mm lens width (regular fit), 15mm bridge (narrow for this lens width), and 145mm temples (standard length). The regular lens width suits most wearers, while the narrow bridge sits closer to the nose than typical frames with 53mm lenses. Compare the 53mm lens width and 15mm bridge to a pair you currently own to determine fit.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the E1153?
It comes in one size, 53-15-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the E1153 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What colors does the E1153 come in?
It is offered in 2 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
