About the Flexon FLX806MAG-SET
The Flexon FLX806MAG-SET is a semi-rimless rectangle frame made from Flexon metal. Designed for men, this style features a rectangular lens shape with regular hinges.
This frame is available in two sizes: 52-19-140 with a lens height of 34 mm, and 54-19-140 with a lens height of 36 mm. The lens width of 52 mm to 54 mm provides a regular fit, while the 19 mm bridge is average for frames in this lens width range. The 140 mm temple length is standard, comparable to what you'll find on most full-size eyeglasses.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 52 or 54?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52; if it is 53–55 mm take the 54.
Is the FLX806MAG-SET good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 34 mm in the 52 and 36 mm in the 54. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What does semi-rimless mean?
A metal rim holds the top of the lens and a fine cord holds the bottom edge, so the frame looks lighter than a full-rim style.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
