About the Flexon W3045
The Flexon W3045 is a women's oval-shaped frame made from Flexon metal in a full-rim construction. The oval shape tends to complement angular and square face shapes by adding softer curves.
This frame comes in two sizes: 50-17-140 with a 41mm lens height, and 53-17-140 with a 43mm lens height. The lens widths of 50mm and 53mm provide a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be similar if your frames are in the regular size range.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 50 or 53?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 49–51 mm take the 50; if it is 52–54 mm take the 53.
Is the W3045 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 41 mm in the 50 and 43 mm in the 53. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the W3045 come in?
It is offered in 3 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
