About the Hello Kitty HK290

The Hello Kitty HK290 is a full rim cat eye frame designed for kids. The cat eye shape gives an upswept look at the outer corners. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for durability.

This frame measures 49-15-135: a 49mm lens width, 15mm bridge, and 135mm temples. The lens width is on the narrow side of regular, and the bridge is narrow for this lens width, which means it sits closer on the nose than many frames with 49mm lenses. The temples are short compared to most frames.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the HK290?

It comes in one size, 49-15-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 47–51 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the HK290 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
