About the IZOD 2124
The IZOD 2124 is a women's modified rectangle frame made from a combination of plastic and metal in a full rim design. The structured rectangular shape with softened edges suits those who prefer defined angles without sharp corners, and the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort.
This frame measures 51-17-145: the 51 mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width, and the 145 mm temples are standard length. What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
