About the IZOD 2147

The IZOD 2147 is a full rim metal frame designed for men. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for increased comfort and durability.

This frame comes in one size: 57-18-150, with a lens height of 40mm. The 57mm lens width is wide, while the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width, and the 150mm temples are long. If your current glasses have smaller lenses or shorter temples, this frame will feel noticeably larger and extend further behind your ears.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 2147?

It comes in one size, 57-18-150. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 55–59 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 2147 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 40 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
