About the John Raymond AXIS
The John Raymond AXIS is a semi-rimless frame with a unisex design. The semi-rimless construction reduces visual weight while maintaining structure around the lenses. This style works for wearers who prefer a less prominent frame presence.
This frame measures 59-18-150 mm (lens width-bridge width-temple length). The 59 mm lens width is very wide, suitable for larger faces, while the 18 mm bridge is average for this lens width. The 150 mm temples are long, so compare these measurements to a pair of glasses that currently fits you well to determine compatibility.

It comes in one size, 59-18-150. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 57–61 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the AXIS good for progressive lenses?

What does semi-rimless mean?
A metal rim holds the top of the lens and a fine cord holds the bottom edge, so the frame looks lighter than a full-rim style.

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
