About the Konishi KA5796

The Konishi KA5796 is a full rim frame designed for women, featuring spring hinges for flexibility and durability. The full rim construction provides complete lens support and a defined look.

This frame measures 52-15-138 (lens width 52mm, bridge 15mm, temple 138mm). The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 15mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, meaning the frame will sit closer at the nose than many glasses with similar-sized lenses. The 138mm temples are standard length.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the KA5796?

It comes in one size, 52-15-138. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the KA5796 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
