About the Konishi KA5836

The Konishi KA5836 is a full rim frame with spring hinges. The unisex design works for both men and women.

This frame measures 56-19-145 mm (lens width 56 mm, bridge 19 mm, temple 145 mm). The 56 mm lens width is wide, providing substantial coverage, while the 19 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the KA5836?

It comes in one size, 56-19-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the KA5836 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
