About the Konishi KA5870

The Konishi KA5870 is a men's rectangular frame made from acetate plastic in a full rim design. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.

This frame comes in one size: 52-22-145mm, with a lens height of 38mm. The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 22mm bridge is wide for this lens width, meaning the frame sits farther from your face than typical glasses with 52mm lenses. The 145mm temples are standard length.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the KA5870?

It comes in one size, 52-22-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the KA5870 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 38 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
