About the Konishi KA5882
The Konishi KA5882 is a rectangular plastic frame made from acetate with a full rim design. This men's frame includes spring hinges for flexibility at the temples. The rectangular shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes.
This frame comes in one size: 55mm lens width, 17mm bridge width, and 145mm temples, with a lens height of 39mm. The 55mm lens width provides a regular fit for most wearers, while the 17mm bridge is average for this lens size. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KA5882?
It comes in one size, 55-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KA5882 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 39 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
