About the Konishi KF8389

The Konishi KF8389 is a semi-rimless rectangle frame designed for men. The rectangular shape provides structured lines, while the semi-rimless construction reduces visual weight along the bottom of the lenses.

This frame comes in two size configurations: 55-19-140 and 55-19-145. The 55mm lens width offers a regular fit, and the 19mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the KF8389?

It comes in one size, 55-19-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the KF8389 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What does semi-rimless mean?

A metal rim holds the top of the lens and a fine cord holds the bottom edge, so the frame looks lighter than a full-rim style.
