About the Konishi KF8490
The Konishi KF8490 is a men's metal frame made from titanium. This frame suits men seeking a lightweight metal option with the durability that titanium construction provides.
This frame measures 54-18-140 mm with a lens height of 34 mm. The 54 mm lens width offers a regular fit, while the 18 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KF8490?
It comes in one size, 54-18-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KF8490 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 34 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the KF8490 come in?
It is offered in 3 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
