About the Konishi KF8636
The Konishi KF8636 is a women's irregular-shaped frame made from titanium metal in a full rim construction. The metal material and distinctive irregular shape create a contemporary look suited to those seeking an unconventional frame style.
This frame measures 49-21-140 mm (lens width-bridge width-temple length). The 49 mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 21 mm bridge is wide for this lens width, meaning the frame will sit farther from your face than other glasses with 49 mm lenses. The 140 mm temples are standard length.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KF8636?
It comes in one size, 49-21-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 47–51 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KF8636 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What colors does the KF8636 come in?
It is offered in 4 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
