About the Konishi KF8646
The Konishi KF8646 is a square-shaped men's frame made from titanium metal in a full rim design. The frame includes spring hinges for flexibility at the temples.
This frame comes in one size: 51-20-140 mm (lens width-bridge-temple length), with a lens height of 41 mm. The 51 mm lens width is on the narrow side of regular, while the 20 mm bridge is wide for this lens width, meaning the frame will sit farther from your face than other glasses with 51 mm lenses. The 140 mm temple length is standard.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KF8646?
It comes in one size, 51-20-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 49–53 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KF8646 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 41 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
