About the Konishi KF8647
The Konishi KF8647 is a rectangular full rim frame made from titanium metal. Designed for men, this frame features spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.
This frame comes in one size: 53mm lens width, 19mm bridge width, and 140mm temple length, with a lens height of 39mm. The 53mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 19mm bridge is average for this lens size. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KF8647?
It comes in one size, 53-19-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KF8647 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 39 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
