About the Konishi KS1702
The Konishi KS1702 is a men's rectangular frame made from stainless steel in a full rim construction. The metal material and angular shape suit those looking for structured, professional eyewear with regular hinges.
This frame comes in one size: 55-18-145, with a lens height of 42mm. The 55mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be similar if your existing frames fit comfortably.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KS1702?
It comes in one size, 55-18-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KS1702 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 42 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the KS1702 come in?
It is offered in 4 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
