About the Konishi KS1709
The Konishi KS1709 is a women's metal frame made from stainless steel. This frame works for those seeking a metal construction in a women's style.
The measurements are 51-19-140 mm with a lens height of 42 mm. The 51 mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 19 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—if your current frames are 52 mm or wider at the lens, these will fit smaller.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KS1709?
It comes in one size, 51-19-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 49–53 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KS1709 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 42 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the KS1709 come in?
It is offered in 4 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
