About the Lacoste L2974
The Lacoste L2974 is a men's rectangular frame made from bio-based plastic material with a full rim design. The rectangular shape provides structured, angular lines that suit those seeking a classic, straightforward look.
This frame comes in two sizes: 53-17-145 with a 42mm lens height, and 56-17-145 with a 43mm lens height, where all temple arms measure 145mm. The lens widths of 53mm and 56mm are wide, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. If your current glasses have similar measurements, this frame will fit comparably.

Which size should I choose, 53 or 56?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 55–57 mm take the 56.
Is the L2974 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 42 mm in the 53 and 43 mm in the 56. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
