About the Lacoste L4002
The Lacoste L4002 is a men's hexagonal frame made from plastic with a full rim design. The angular hexagonal shape offers a modern alternative to traditional round or rectangular frames and works well for those seeking distinctive geometry in their eyewear. Spring hinges provide flexibility at the temples.
This frame comes in one size: 54mm lens width, 17mm bridge, and 145mm temples, with a lens height of 43mm. The 54mm lens width provides a regular fit suitable for average face widths, while the 17mm bridge is standard for this lens size. To compare with glasses you currently own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the L4002?
It comes in one size, 54-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the L4002 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 43 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
