About the Lacoste L4030
The Lacoste L4030 is a men's rectangular frame made from bio-based plastic with a full rim design. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.
This frame comes in two sizes: 55-16-145 with a lens height of 41mm, and 58-17-145 with a lens height of 43mm. The lens width of 55mm to 58mm is wide, while the 16mm to 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width, and the 145mm temples are standard length. If your current glasses have similar measurements, this frame will fit comparably.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 55 or 58?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 54–56 mm take the 55; if it is 57–59 mm take the 58.
Is the L4030 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 41 mm in the 55 and 43 mm in the 58. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
