About the London Fog LF617
The London Fog LF617 is a full rim cat eye frame designed for women. The cat eye shape features upswept outer corners that complement angular and heart-shaped faces. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort.
This frame comes in one size: 56-17-140mm. The 56mm lens width is wide, providing substantial coverage, while the 17mm bridge is average for a frame of this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be larger in lens width than typical medium frames.

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
