About the Marchon 3031
The Marchon 3031 is a full rim rectangular frame designed for men. The rectangle shape works well for those with round or oval faces, providing definition and structure. These are regular hinge frames built in a classic men's style.
This frame comes in one size: 55mm lens width, 15mm bridge, and 140mm temples. The 55mm lens width provides a regular fit for most wearers, while the 15mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, sitting closer on the nose than many frames with 55mm lenses. The 140mm temple length is standard. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the 3031?
It comes in one size, 55-15-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 3031 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What colors does the 3031 come in?
It is offered in 3 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
