About the Moleskine MO1248
The Moleskine MO1248 is a women's square frame with full rims. The square shape provides structured, angular lines that complement round or oval face shapes.
This frame measures 50-20-145 mm (lens width-bridge-temple). The 50 mm lens width is on the narrow side of regular, while the 20 mm bridge is wide for this lens width, meaning the frame will sit farther from your face than most glasses with 50 mm lenses. The 145 mm temples are standard length.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the MO1248?
It comes in one size, 50-20-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 48–52 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the MO1248 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What colors does the MO1248 come in?
It is offered in 3 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
