About the Nautica N7299
The Nautica N7299 is a men's rectangular frame made from metal in a semi-rimless construction. The spring hinges provide flexibility and durability, while the rectangular shape suits those who prefer a structured, professional look.
This frame comes in one size: 53-18-140, with a lens height of 30mm. The 53mm lens width offers a regular fit, and the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width, meaning it will sit similarly to most glasses you already own with comparable measurements. The 140mm temples are standard length.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the N7299?
It comes in one size, 53-18-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the N7299 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 30 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
